Getting that wild hair up our asses and deciding after coming out of the water, on the spur of the moment to just take a road trip to San Fransico and bail up the coast to the most beautiful city in California if not the country. Best trips are always on a whim. Surfing the California coast, getting to Frisco and enjoy the rest of our TRIP. The drive was worth the flight. 😆 yea......

I had this album and played it A LOT!!!

My brother had this album when I was growing up. Never saw it in anyone else's collection or heard ppl talk about him outside of when I saw him at Cactus Cafe in Austin in the 2000's. His 1st two albums are both worth checking out, but "Second Contribution" in particular stands out.

Great tune, memories, come floating back, have not heard this in many decades. I believe it was 1967 or 68 where I played this over and over and over!!!

One iconic Album which is on the shelves! Actually played this as we drove over the Golden Gate Bridge many years back.Rog.Pacific Sunset Records (LA).

This song could have, should have been an equal to "Sunshine of your Love" or "Too much to Dream" but I think it was the lyrics that held it back. Instead of a groovy trip and tribute to the San Francisco Girls, it's just a selfish in your face breakup song. Not right after the Summer of Love.

Such a beautiful song. The album was very disappointing for me. I mean after The Captain And Me and they come out with this revival music?? A bit much for me to take at 19, but Daughter Of The Sea and this Jewel saves it, although I suspect it was a B side of one of the two hits from this album. Another Park was a much better song to me but…

My very best summer of all time 1968 the never has been before and never will be an era like this one I was lucky enough to be there and oh how I miss it but thanks for the ride

I remember when this song first came out.God am I getting old.

We covered this song in our rock band back in high school... one of my favorites.

Texas bands did psych rock the best.

Whenever I listen to this song, I feel like I'm actually "back" to that incredible year in San Francisco and listening to it for the first time. Truly a Classic of it's genre. I've listened to it a hundred times in 56 years and it still sends shivers through my mind and body.

I wonder why Lenny Kaye left this off the Nuggets compilation?

This song has a hint of terrible Ted Nugent in it, or his influence. I’ll need to google up fever tree to see if he was in that band🥁

What a far out, fevered,fantastic frisco flight full of fantasy, and feeling

I was born here, grew up here and came back 15 years ago. My favorite part of the song is the "milk and honey days" slow part. That's really the feel of the place back in the day. I would love to hear that part made into a whole floating, drifty song on its own.
